The city of Chicago issued a new construction building permit on Dec. 13 for a project at 1611 N. Hermitage Ave. The estimated cost of the building is $4 million....
The project description is to “erect a four-story mixed-use building with retail and enclosed parking on the first floor and residential units (17 total) on the second, third and fourth floors. Construction will be type iii-b with fire wall separation, exterior will be brick veneer with stud and masonry backup. Garage will be sprinkled.”
